May 9th 2013 / Just returned from a trip to Abu Dhabi and Doha to shoot a feature for Wallpaper magazine. The emirates are now well documented, but they are still a mystery to me. A playground to build entire new cities - including the sand. It is like walking through a property developers brochure.




May 1st 2013 / Recently I found myself in a studio surrounded by some seriously big guys and girls. Made me feel very small and stick-like. All shot for a new Tango campaign.




April 5th 2013 / I love food. And cooking. And eating. So who better to send to Italy to the Museo de Moderna e Contmporanea in Roveretto to shoot 'the food project, a great exhibition about food in art and design. The series of still lifes was commissioned by nowness.com. And after shooting half the night in the empty museum Leo and I did eat and drink well.

April 18th 2012 / One of the coolest publications currently out in London is Ponystep magazine. They asked me to take a portrait of Louise Wilson, infamous head of Central St. Martin's fashion course. And yes, she did live up to her reputation. I guess I too would swear like a trooper had I been surrounded by fashion students for the last 20 years...

November 17th 2011 / Wallpaper* magazine asked me to shoot the coolest architects of the moment inside the beautifully empty Victoria and Albert museum early in the morning. And not one black poloneck in sight.



November 17th 2011 / What is it with architects at the moment ? Just got the latest copy of architecture magazine Hauser from Germany in the post with my portrait of Will Alsop. He was actually featured for his work as painter rather than his architecture, which is rather fantastic.

October 10th 2010 / I put my nose into the secretive world of Formula 1 to shoot the iPad app for The Times Eureka magazine. Feels more like a hospital than a motor garage. And apparently the app has been in the top ten favorite apps for weeks now.



October 8th 2010 / The Singapore International Photography Festival is opening on the 10th of October. I have been invited to show my project 'Man, Nature, Technology". Looks like a great Festival. Just a bit too far...www.sipf.sg

September 3rd 2010 / What a nice man Gilles Peterson is ! Hanging out in his house while he played a few of his records was one of the easiest shoots I've ever done. There must be half a million vinyls in his house. 'Took me over four hours to find a record last week' - I'm not surprised Gilles. Shot for the cover of Telerama magazine from France.
